Learn - The 'New' Fad Corrupting Our Schoolchildren Is Not So New

First and foremost I want to give everyone a piece of one of the most remarkable women who has been writing about America's Educational System and it's polices, I have learned more in one hour just by the reading the following article and where it has led me to see what and whom has destroyed America's Education System.

As a parent I would never give my child a pack of matches and tell the child to go outside and play with them, I can't say our Government looked out for the wellbeing of children. I hope you take time to dig in and learn what has taken place and I hope not just as Parents but all American's of all Races who care about the future of our children and our nation. How do you change a whole Country? By it's children. I am not Anti Government I don't believe our Government. The Government changed America's Children by very bad policy in the classroom and throughout 130,930 schools K-12.

Knowledge is power: The way you change things is by knowledge and how empowering that can be to change and demand change in America's Education Policies. I believe you the reader reading my post can be empowered and make it possible. Children in America should be your top priority and let our Government know that We as people of The United States Of America will not tolerate their dysfunction and junk Education polices and I hope never once you believe as moms, dads, grandparents, teachers, educators or politicians we are out of time and it's to late to change, the Government got us here and we have to push back and take action and write new Education Policies. I hope your in it for the long haul!

Please read the following Article its very important and that you take time to read and read the links she has attached to her article for a current understanding to empower yourselves for your child and for your families.

Please share this post with everyone so we can empower all the parents in this fight against people in their Dystopia and the Indoctrination Marxist Ideology dysfunction on America's Children.

Meet Dr. Carole Hornsby HaynesEducation Analyst and Policy Advisor, Curriculum Specialist.

As they learn more about social and emotional learning (SEL) with its data-mining, parents are in an uproar.  They're demanding an opt-out and deletion of all stored data.  Some believe that if we can stop the leftward lurch of America, we can "turn our schools around" and use SEL as it was "initially intended."

But was the initial purpose of SEL really to teach appropriate social behavior and support "mental wellness" and "management of emotions," or is there a sinister underside?

SEL's Occult Connections

The term "social and emotional learning" was coined in 1994 at a meeting hosted by the Fetzer Institute, founded by New Age guru John Fetzer. Fetzer was obsessed with Alice Bailey, the controversial occultist and organizer of the Lucis Trust.  Robert Muller, former assistant secretary-general of the U.N., authored the World Core Curriculum that introduces students worldwide to occult thought.  A member of the Lucis Trust, his underlying philosophy was based on the teachings of Alice Bailey.

The Origins of SEL

The public assumes that SEL is just the latest education fad.  However, psychologists in the early twentieth century were tinkering around with children's minds, trying to figure out how to condition them for specific behaviors.  Colleges of education are especially fond of teaching about Pavlov's dogs to show how children can be "trained" like animals to obey commands.

John Dewey, dean of American progressive education, believed that the classroom should be used for social and political change at the expense of academic learning.  A fan of Soviet education, Dewey introduced similar techniques in American education to train students for the workforce instead of providing a broad academic foundation.

SEL was key in Marc Tucker's German-based plan to centralize education and change it from academic to workforce training for a nationally managed economy.  His master plan, laid out in the 1992 infamous "Dear Hillary letter," was implemented by Goals 2000, the School-to-Work Act, and the Workforce Investment Act.

After decades of this socialist-style education and psychological conditioning, the American workforce has gone from being the best educated in the industrialized world to the worst.

SEL / Mental Health in Federal and State Programs

SEL first gained a foothold in federal law with Clinton's Goals 2000, designed to change student attitudes, values, and beliefs.  States had to adopt the statute's National Education Goals to get federal funding through the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).  The ESEA's reauthorization as Goals 2000 mandated state curriculum standards and standardized tests, circumventing local control.

This led to more federalized control with No Child Left Behind, Race to the Top/Common Core, and the Every Student Succeeds Act.  SEL was key in all of these.

Goals 2000 was reauthorized under Bush as No Child Left Behind (NCLB) with heavy-handed federal intrusion and mental health grants for young children.  The Obama administration allocated more than $150 million in mental health grants to test and collect personal data of K–12 students.  Under Texas's Governor Abbott, mental health clinics have been added to public school campuses.  Now we're seeing the government taking more control with vaccination clinics on campuses.  The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), which replaced No Child Left Behind, provides many opportunities for SEL funding through Titles I, II, IV, VI, and VIII.

State pre-K standards are frequently aligned to Head Start and the National Association for the Education of Young Children that use Critical Race Theory terminology.  Through these, SEL with Critical Race Theory is key in most American early childhood programs.

The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is now testing for social-emotional characteristics, a violation of federal law, and the Fourth Amendment right to privacy.

Common Core Déjà Vu

Despite a public firestorm when student academic performance spiraled downward with Common Core, the curriculum standards were not abolished at the local or state level.  Instead, they were codified at the federal level in ESSA.  Instead of ending NCLB and returning educational control to the states, ESSA actually cemented federal control.

Not only did ESSA codify Common Core, but it changed the primary purpose of education from academic to social and emotional learning (SEL).

Vehicle for CRT

Various provisions of ESSA either encourage or even require the inclusion of SEL in schools.  All SEL programs include sexuality, gender, race, racism, class, and the nuclear family.

The teacher union's NEA Global Learning Fellow and teacher, Wendy Turner, is quoted saying, "SEL is the foundation, the heartbeat of the classroom."  Does this indicate that CRT is the "foundation, the heartbeat of the classroom"?

The federal government is pushing SEL and Critical Race Theory into public schools through the American Rescue Plan 2021.  To receive federal grants, the school is required to spend at least 20% on SEL and "free, antiracist therapy for White educators" to get the grant.

The Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL), a leading SEL provider, lists several Critical Race Theory terms in its five core "Competencies with Equity Focus," including cultural competency, diversity, inequity, equity, racial equity, and inclusive.  Psychological manipulation is found in the "Self Awareness" core competency — "awareness of beliefs, mindsets, and biases" and "how they influence one's behavior."

More Billions for Billionaires

CASEL is funded by the usual left-wing billionaires: Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Robert Wood Johnson.

For vendors, CRT programs mean new sales.  At the district and school levels, these programs are supported by a top-heavy staff earning six-figure salaries.  For investors, SEL is a golden goose.

Can Parents Opt Out of SEL Assignments?

Opting one's child out of SEL assignments sounds simple enough.  In reality, it's virtually impossible.  The U.S. Education Department's handbook, "Roadmap to Reopening Safely and Meeting All Students' Needs," states that not only is SEL taught explicitly, but "social and emotional skills, habits, and mindsets" are "integrated" broadly within the learning process.

With the vast entanglement of SEL at all levels, how can parents access, much less get deleted, all of the data collected in numerous settings over the years?

Conclusion

School boards and educators — even parents — have naïvely bought the Marxist bill of goods that SEL is vital to deal with student mental problems.  The fact is that public education has created the mental health crisis through its radical sex curriculum.  Youths have become violent, murderers, sociopaths, sex predators, and God-haters.

SEL is doing what it was initially intended to do: instill a new value system including socialism, population control, radical environmentalism, and LBGT.  With socialist workforce training and radical sex instead of academic learning, America now has a crazed youth and the dumbest workforce in the industrialized world.  This is a catastrophic threat to our national economy.

Unless SEL is abolished entirely, it will continue as has Common Core and create irreversible damage.  Since the purpose of public education is to educate youths for a Marxist society, abolishing SEL is merely a pipe dream.  The only solution is a mass exodus from public education before it's too late.

Brainwashed Baby CRT Antiracist Baby by Ibram X. Kendi. Brainwashing In the Political Arena

Understand that those who attempt to brainwash others tend to prey upon the weak and vulnerable.

What's Your Baby's Bar Code?

What's on your Daycare or School reading list?

Antiracist Baby by Ibram X. Kendi Concepts In Public Schools & Daycare?

Thank to Judicial Watch for obtaining Documents from Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. Get the Exclusive Documents here
  • We received two sets of records related to the teaching of critical race theory, including a training course with information about a book titled “Antiracist Baby” that introduces the youngest readers to “the concept and power of antiracism,” and says it’s the “perfect gift” for “ages baby to age 3.”

Ibram X. Kendi’s picture book and says studies show that white parents are the least likely to engage with these issues with their children. They are the least likely to talk about racism with their children.

Kendi makes my point that White Parents aren't sitting around making race a issue for their children in their homes. Now in school learning Critical Race Theory that you look different and you are less than and that you must cater to the other race because of "You are born a racist?"

As I said prior if you took 20 5 year olds and placed them in a room and they watched another person cry they would have a couple reactions:

1. They would cry
2. They would want to help the person crying.
3. Making it a race issue in your home: you are different and each person should be treated differently would make one of the 20 or several of the 5 year olds first look at the person skin color. Would they not end up with lack of empathy and sympathy as they are taught at a young age by a book you look different so therefore you must be treated differently when you cry?

The Human Connection Between Mother & Infant

When a child is born the bond between Mother and Infant is astonishing from the cry of the newborn to the senses, such as smell and sounds that Mother and Newborn have for one another. It's is amazing to feel and see. To take a newborn to age three and to even give it antiracist baby is going against all nature that is given to every women that has given birth. Kendi is no Mother, he hasn't a clue!

Opinion - Please think about the following.

Brainwashing In the Political Arena: maybe you are Left, Right or in the Middle on your political beliefs what you should understand Political Brainwashing comes in many forms and so does Group Thinking in the Political Spectrum.

American citizens are now being separated from the reality of how (Government Runs) a balance between two parties and now throwing young children in the mix to choose.

Both Sides of the aisle are suppose to work together that is called UNITY and getting things done for the benefit for all. Recently I looked at a picture and children as young as 5 years old choosing a political party American households have become so divide and the entire United States is being Rocked by Brainwashing.

Group Thought/Thinking is part of Socialism, it's showing on both sides of the political spectrum and there isn't any balance anymore. You must choose as young as 5 years old? Maybe that was the intent after all?

Look out for those who try to make being “part of the group” more attractive than the outside world.

When is the right time to start talking to your children about racism and antiracism?

Author and academic Ibram X. Kendi thinks it is never to early to start these conversations – and he has written a picture book to help parents teach children from as young as three-years-old.

First published in summer last year, Antiracist Baby is the New York Times bestselling picture book that uses bold illustrations and thoughtful, yet playful, text to introduce the youngest readers and the grown ups in their lives to the concept of antiracism.

‘I wanted to have a tool to be able to talk about being antiracist with my young daughter,’ Ibram tells Metro.co.uk.

‘We typically started conversations on many different topics using books, so why not race and being antiracist?

‘I also wanted to inspire a larger conversation among other parents about how important it is to have these conversations with our children.’

‘As early as three months, our babies start distinguishing race-faces.’ (Picture: Stephen Voss)

Antiracist Baby provides the language necessary to begin critical conversations at the earliest age, and Ibram says parents shouldn’t shy away from addressing these issues with their kids.

‘It is never too early to talk to children about racism,’ explains Ibram. ‘Just like it is never too early to teach kids to look both ways when they are crossing the street.

‘As early as three months, our babies start distinguishing race-faces. As early as two to three years old, our child start applying racist messages, like choosing who to play with based on skin color.

‘It is much easier to learn antiracist ideas than it is to unlearn racist ideas, as we adults know.’

‘I would encourage parents to use books as conversation starters.’ (Picture: Antiracist Baby/Penguin)

Ibram says studies show that white parents are the least likely to engage with these issues with their children. They are the least likely to talk about racism with their children.

He adds that adults whose parents talked to them about racism are more likely to recognise racism as a problem in adults and are therefore more likely not to ‘think people of color are a problem, and therefore more likely to be antiracist.’

A study in June 2020 found that 27% of white parents of children between 6 and 11 years old ‘never’ talk with their kids about the need for racial equality.

Another 15% said these conversations were ‘rare’ and 34% said they happened ‘on occasion.’

Those who are talking about race frequently take a ‘colourblind’ approach, which emphasises the sameness between people of different ethnicities, and plays down the importance of acknowledging race and racism.

Conversely, Ibram’s book encourages people to be actively antiracist, which he is says is far more important than simply not being racist, or saying that you ‘don’t see colour’.

‘I would encourage parents to use books as conversation starters,’ says Ibram. ‘And take your kids places where they can see racism, so they can ask why, so you can explain what’s happening: those bad rules instead of those bad people being the problem.

‘It is critical to not shy away from these conversations.’

THE DATA MINING OF AMERICA’S KIDS SHOULD BE A NATIONAL SCANDAL

Dare to Ask and Challenge!

The Data Mining of America’s Kids Should Be a National Scandal

By Asra Q. Nomani & Erika SanziOctober 27, 2021

On a recent Saturday night, Caroline Licwinko, a mother of three, a law school student and the coach to her daughter’s cheerleading squad, sat in front of her laptop and tapped three words into an internet search engine: “Panorama. Survey. Results.”

Within three clicks, Licwinko was in an online “dashboard” created by Panorama Education Inc., a government contractor hired by school districts to gauge their students’ “social and emotional learning.” However, Panorama digs far deeper than whether students might feel depressed or lonely, raising serious public policy questions. It asks all kinds of prying questions, including gender and sexual orientation and views on racial issues. Licwinko and her husband, Eric, became concerned in September when their sons’ school, North Hunterdon High School, told parents they were sending students a Panorama survey. Although they opted their sons out, as parents are ostensibly allowed to do, their sons were sent the survey anyway. What’s more, a school official confirmed to them, the private information of all students – including whether they receive special education services and free and reduced meals – was sent across four state lines to Panorama, based in Boston. Last week, Panorama refused to give the Licwinkos the data the company received on their children.

“They are data mining and psychologically profiling our kids. The questions they are asking are absolutely inappropriate in a school setting,” says Licwinko. “Schools have sold our children’s privacy to a data analytics company that is tracking attendance, behavior, and family’s financial status.”

Raising questions at the House hearing about a possible conflict of interest, Garland’s son-in-law is a co-founder of Panorama, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and other big-name venture capitalists from Big Tech are investors.

School districts defend the decision to hire companies like Panorama, claiming that addressing students’ “social and emotional learning” helps identify struggling kids through another sales product, the “Early Warning System,” that gives students a rating based on algorithms. But concerned parents see the surveys as fishing expeditions that violate privacy and give activist school boards cover to infuse curricula with divisive ideology, from “queer theory” to critical race theory, which teaches that society’s ills must be viewed primarily through the lens of race.

The private information of students that is being exploited is startling. In Licwinko’s search, Portland Public Schools popped up from Oregon. Panorama surveyed students, teachers, and parents in 2019 in 102 schools in the school district. Clicking on “Background Questions” at Alliance High School at Meek Campus, Licwinko saw there were 15 respondents in ninth and tenth grades, and five students responded they were a “Girl / Woman.” Nine said they were “Boy / Man.” One student responded, “Nonbinary.”

To a question, “Are you transgender?” Fourteen said, “No, I am not transgender.” One did not respond.

Next, she read the answers to the question: “How do you describe your sexual orientation?”

Nine students said, “Heterosexual / Straight.” Zero students said “Lesbian,” “Bisexual / Pansexual,” “Queer,” or “Questioning / not sure.” One student said, “Gay.” She also learned students’ feelings about a “Sense of Belonging.”

This data collection isn’t limited to students. Licwinko discovered that 4,191 parents in Portland Public Schools said they were “Heterosexual / Straight,” and 16 parents said they were “Questioning / not sure.” Of the teachers and staff, 67 said they were “Bisexual / Pansexual.”

This mom’s discoveries are just the tip of the iceberg, offering a glimpse of how agenda-driven companies like Panorama are data mining and exploiting America’s children for profit.

Over the past four months, at Parents Defending Education, an advocacy group formed earlier this year to give parents a voice in these matters, we filed 207 requests with public school systems under the Freedom of Information Act and other laws, identifying 122 consultants in a new Consultant Report Card we have published today, with 249 contracts that add up to $19,575,169.45 spent for consultants who teach lessons like, “Defining the ‘N’ word,” including to “3-5 years old” kids, according to a copy of the contract. Earlier this month, we sent a letter to Sen. Richard Blumenthal, chair of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, and Sen. Marsha Blackburn, ranking members of the committee, requesting a hearing on Big Tech’s data mining of America’s children.

One of the biggest contractors is Panorama, a company started in 2013 by two then-Yale undergraduates. Today, they boast they are in 23,000 schools and have statewide contracts in nine states (including Hawaii and Iowa) and the entire District of Columbia. Parents like Licwinko are very concerned Panorama skirt federal and state student privacy laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA), and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

For example, in Fairfax County, Va., the fine print in the Panorama contract gives new powers for company staff as “school officials.” This contract ought to be considered a clear violation of privacy laws protecting children, especially the strictest laws protecting children under the age of 13. Panorama and Portland Public Schools didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Across the country, parents have been complaining to school boards about the intrusive surveys their children are getting. In Arlington, Va., last week, a father learned that his school district and Panorama only seek “passive parent consent.”

“The data mining of America’s kids should be a national scandal,” says Jennifer McWilliams, a former teacher in Frankton, Ind., and mother investigating the semantic game of “social and emotional learning” and “equity” used as a Trojan horse for consultants with innocuous names like Pacific Educational Group Inc. and Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning, or CASEL. Some, like CASEL, are nonprofits that operate like for-profit companies, with high-profile funders, including Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

In early September, a northern Virginia mother tipped us off to the contract, now worth $2.4 million, that Fairfax County Public Schools signed with Panorama. “Our children = lab rats,” she wrote. Mom Tiffany McCaslin soon learned the school system had sent her daughter’s personal data to Panorama even though she opted her out of the survey. “It’s criminal,” says McCaslin. Indeed, we’ve now learned some children were given the survey even after their parents submitted opt-out forms.

The next month, at the alleged behest of the White House, facing tough political battles stoked by frustrated parents, including the Virginia governor’s race, the National Association of School Boards sent a letter to President Joe Biden, equating protests at school board meetings – carried out largely parents – to “domestic terrorism and hate crimes.” U.S. Attorney General Garland outraged many parents by marshaling the FBI to investigate them.

In New Jersey, Licwinko’s jaw dropped when she heard that Garland’s son-in-law Alexander Tanner is a co-founder of Panorama. She wasn’t satisfied with Garland’s answer, “I don’t know,” when asked if Justice Department officials met with White House and school board officials before his memo was written. In fact, we have learned that school board association staff were speaking to White House officials for “several weeks,” according to an internal email. Further, Licwinko wasn’t convinced by Garland’s argument: “This memorandum does not relate to the financial interests of anyone.”

She wants a hearing on the data mining of students and Garland’s apparent conflict of interest. Now, she has learned another Panorama co-founder, Aaron Feuer, the CEO, is the son of Los Angeles City’s elected attorney, Michael Feuer, who is embroiled in a contracting scandal.

Her daughter’s drawings of unicorns on her office wall, Licwinko is following the data. On her desk, she has copies of federal and state privacy laws. She runs two nonprofits helping vulnerable children. She is unrelenting. “I will not stop,” she says, “until we end this exploitation of our children.”
