Antiracist Baby by Ibram X. Kendi Concepts In Public Schools & Daycare?

We received two sets of records related to the teaching of critical race theory, including a training course with information about a book titled “Antiracist Baby” that introduces the youngest readers to “the concept and power of antiracism,” and says it’s the “perfect gift” for “ages baby to age 3.”

are the least likely to talk about racism with their children.
Kendi makes my point that White Parents aren't sitting around making race a issue for their children in their homes. Now in school learning Critical Race Theory that you look different and you are less than and that you must cater to the other race because of "You are born a racist?"
As I said prior if you took 20 5 year olds and placed them in a room and they watched another person cry they would have a couple reactions:
1. They would cry
2. They would want to help the person crying.
3. Making it a race issue in your home: you are different and each person should be treated differently would make one of the 20 or several of the 5 year olds first look at the person skin color. Would they not end up with lack of empathy and sympathy as they are taught at a young age by a book you look different so therefore you must be treated differently when you cry?
The Human Connection Between Mother & Infant
When a child is born the bond between Mother and Infant is astonishing from the cry of the newborn to the senses, such as smell and sounds that Mother and Newborn have for one another. It's is amazing to feel and see. To take a newborn to age three and to even give it antiracist baby is going against all nature that is given to every women that has given birth. Kendi is no Mother, he hasn't a clue!

start these conversations – and he has written a picture book to help
parents teach children from as young as three-years-old.
First published in summer last year, Antiracist Baby
is the New York Times bestselling picture book that uses bold
illustrations and thoughtful, yet playful, text to introduce the
youngest readers and the grown ups in their lives to the concept of
antiracism.
‘I wanted to have a tool to be able to talk about being antiracist with my young daughter,’ Ibram tells Metro.co.uk.
‘We typically started conversations on many different topics using books, so why not race and being antiracist?
‘I also wanted to inspire a larger conversation among other parents
about how important it is to have these conversations with our
children.’

Antiracist
Baby provides the language necessary to begin critical conversations at
the earliest age, and Ibram says parents shouldn’t shy away from
addressing these issues with their kids.
‘It is never too early to talk to children about racism,’ explains Ibram. ‘Just like it is never too early to teach kids to look both ways when they are crossing the street.
‘As early as three months, our babies start distinguishing
race-faces. As early as two to three years old, our child start applying
racist messages, like choosing who to play with based on skin color.
‘It is much easier to learn antiracist ideas than it is to unlearn racist ideas, as we adults know.’

Ibram
says studies show that white parents are the least likely to engage
with these issues with their children. They are the least likely to talk
about racism with their children.
He adds that adults whose parents talked to them about racism are
more likely to recognise racism as a problem in adults and are therefore
more likely not to ‘think people of color are a problem, and therefore
more likely to be antiracist.’
A study in June 2020
found that 27% of white parents of children between 6 and 11 years old
‘never’ talk with their kids about the need for racial equality.
Another 15% said these conversations were ‘rare’ and 34% said they happened ‘on occasion.’
Those who are talking about race frequently take a ‘colourblind’
approach, which emphasises the sameness between people of different
ethnicities, and plays down the importance of acknowledging race and
racism.
Conversely, Ibram’s book encourages people to be actively antiracist, which he is says is far more important than simply not being racist, or saying that you ‘don’t see colour’.
‘I would encourage parents to use books as conversation starters,’
says Ibram. ‘And take your kids places where they can see racism, so
they can ask why, so you can explain what’s happening: those bad rules
instead of those bad people being the problem.
‘It is critical to not shy away from these conversations.’

You could argue the following to the school: SEL is taking non trained teachers who aren't Certified as Intervention Specialist and implementing a program SEL into the whole classroom.
A child now falls under the classification a child needs Social Emotional Learning as a Intervention that SEL is implementing into the classroom as an intervention. Under the Federal & State law teachers must be certified, the Government mandates it under IDEA. How? Read further.
To become a clinical psychologist, you will need an undergraduate degree (four to five years of college) plus a doctorate degree (four to seven years of graduate school). For this specialty area, most people will spend between eight to 12 years in higher education.
To become a teacher it take 4 years.
The teacher has obtained full state certification as a special education teacher (including certification obtained through alternative routes to certification), or passed the state special education teacher licensing examination, and holds a license to teach in the state as a special education teacher
Now the everyday teacher who wasn't trained or specialize in Psychology is teaching SEL -Social Emotional Learning and isn't Government Certified by way of all teachers are not Intervention Specialist. Not all children have Social Emotional Learning Problems, each student has different learning needs and what's better then having a teacher who looks at each student in their learning needs as individuals and recognizes what that child might need because of emotional or non emotional learning problems, some children have ADHD and cause infractions in class, there are numerous learning problems. When parents and teachers come together in a classroom and a child has a learning disability they have tests to find out what that child needs to able to learn and excel, they get tested and end up with either an IEP or a 504, their is testing for children with learning emotional problems and other problems. (SEL) Social Emotional Learning falls under Emotional Behavior.
Can my child get an IEP or 504 due to emotional problems?YES!What is defined as emotional problems? Your doctor would test your child and the school! The Student could have social awkwardness, feels uncomfortable around others and all sorts of emotional issue that makes a child have emotional infractions and unable to learn or it makes him or her difficult to learn, they wouldn't give a survey. A intervention specialist and team of people who are Certified specialist give any test that should be done. SEL is removing that step.
What is an IEP - The Individualized Education Program is a legal document under United States law that is developed for each public school child in the U.S. who needs special education. It is created through a team of the child's parent and district personnel who are knowledgeable about the child's needs.Wikipedia
What is a 504 -The 504 Plan is a plan developed to ensure that a child who has a disability identified under the law and is attending an elementary or secondary educational institution receives accommodations that will ensure their academic success and access to the learning environment.
With SEL you get Increase instruction time, reduce behavior infractions, that's like starting out the school year that their is already behavioral problems. To assume a child already has behavior infractions is not only stupid it's not true! Ok wait a minute this is changing IDEA! Read further. What are infractions?. Get your student handbook out that was given to you at the beginning of school and if you didn't get one ask for one or ask your child's teacher what they have listed as infractions? What some Minor Infractions could be;Minor infractions are those that are commonly handled by teachers in a classroom. Here are just a few: Disrupting class, Defiance, insolence, insults, Noncompliance.
What are some Major Infractions; Major infractions are those that warrant the intervention of a school administrator. Here are a few: Disruptive behavior, Harassment, bullying, cyber-bullying, hazing and retaliation
What is IDEA: Disability is a natural part of the human experience and in no way diminishes the right of individuals to participate in or contribute to society. Improving educational results for children with disabilities is an essential element of our national policy of ensuring equality of opportunity, full participation, independent living, and economic self-sufficiency for individuals with disabilities.
The concept of IDEA was for Children with a Learning disability or emotional learning problems and have Specialized Teachers who are trained solely for that purpose and follow strict guidelines set by the Government in dealing with Social Emotional Learning Behavioral Problems, such as ADHD and all sorts of other problems. With SEL in each classroom your child falls into the Classification of having Behavior problems and assume your child has disadvantage in their learning structure and needs and needs intervention. What does that all mean? They are classified as a Child with a Learning Disability. They have specialized teachers who are specialized and with SEL they are placing a learning structure that all Children need Emotional Training a intervention.
Can my child get an IEP due to emotional problems -Yes, an Individualized Education Program (IEP) can certainly include emotional supports as well as emotional goals and objectives. It's common for a 504 plan to include this type of support, too.
The Government requires certified training on Teachers who can teach a child with a learning disorder. With SEL your child falls into that classification because they deemed your child already with Behavioral issues and this program will help them in their learning needs a intervention and your now everyday teacher who isn't certified is giving your child Social Emotional Learning techniques that Requires Trained Teachers that are CERTIFIED! Edutopia gives 3 Ways School Counselors Can Boost SEL - Proves my argument above, teachers are Counselors now or Non Certified Teacher acting as Specialist intervention and implementing and intervention called (IEP AKA Intervention Education Plan or a 504 Plan)
SEL is a intervention program being sold to school and teachers who are not Certified under the law and is implementing them into the classroom using Non Special Education Teachers and making them Special Education intervention Teachers who are not qualified or certified as Required under Federal Educational Laws.

School counselors, psychologists, social workers, and other SSPs have many responsibilities, to which promoting SEL is typically an add-on. For my daughter, she is not required islamically to support anyone financially, not even herself, so there is no positive need to pursue vocational education. In terms of vocations, most are not going to be in an Islamically appropriate environment anyway. These vocations threaten my goals for my daughter. Assuming my daughter is of average intelligence, she will not have high enough IQ to be a doctor, much less a good one. The majority of Muslim women are in the same camp (that's how the bell curve works). The educational system is designed around this fact. Education is effectively a conveyor belt taking women into the workforce to increase national GDP. That's the whole point.

I love being a teacher and I care a great deal about my students, almost all of whom are non-white. This past 2020/21 school year was a sad and worrisome turning point for me as an educator. During my Junior High School Year desegregation startedand people bused off to different communities, Whites went to the Black Community Schools and Blacks went to the White Community Schools and it was 50/50 White and Black in a School. What you call Equity.
During my high school years I went to a all Black School in a Black Community where housing was called "The projects" (Welfare Community) and I was the MINORITY the school had a reputation of violence and my Mother had to pull me out of school because of the violence. I don't know how anyone would have ever thought such non sense about my White Life. To clump people into one group and say that all white people are racist is just simply not true and nether are all White Children and boy do we have a huge problem now in our education system and the workforce in the USA.
I never lived in the Suburbs as a child I lived in a poor community and a bar on every corner, Steele Mill was the place to work and people drank. We had Black & White Police Officers. I had a lots of different friends from different backgrounds and no adult told us we couldn't be friends and that being White was a bad thing. Clearly Radicals have been very busy at America's Children and in America's Workforce. Do I sound like a Domestic Terrorist? or am I now marked as one? because I disagree with BLM or any Radical Ideology that Changes one person thoughts or controls them. You're in big big trouble and I will get the FBI after you, I SAY CALL THEM!
